How to use the NEUTRUM Location Profiler

  • You select the preset that makes sense for your search (e.g. “store”) and check how well it already matches your wishes and criteria. Alternatively, you can also define your own search profile from scratch.
  • You are completely free to customize which data and criteria should be included, how important they are to you, and how they should be evaluated in the scoring (e.g. higher criminality can also be a positive factor if you want to open a security service). Use filters (e.g. “only consider age groups 35-65”) to further refine your profile.
  • You enter the locations that come into question and are to be investigated.
  • Save your settings and start the analysis.
  • As soon as the results are available – usually after a few minutes at the latest – you will receive a push notification and can call up the results in the “Results” tab.
  • Explore the results, filter by locations, criteria or e.g. travel time zones. You are supported by automatically generated explanatory texts and tool tips that help with interpretation.

The Location Profiler contains data from statistical offices (local, regional, national level), geodatabases and map services, company databases, weather data and Google searches. Further data, e.g. on building structure, soil moisture, vehicle registrations, etc., can be added at any time.

We always use the latest available data and update our databases regularly. API interfaces are requested in real time and the latest available data is available immediately.

The Location Profiler is much easier to set up and operate.
